War in Ukraine
Report: 14. June 2024"Putin outlined four conditions for negotiations with Kyiv (Ukraine) in a speech at the Foreign Ministry."
Russian President Vladimir Putin laid out four conditions for negotiations on a settlement at a meeting with the Russian Foreign Ministry leadership prior to the Ukraine conference in Switzerland. These conditions include the;
Withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Donbas and Novorossiya,
Kyiv's refusal to join NATO,
a neutral and non-aligned status for Ukraine,
and the lifting of all Western sanctions.
Negotiating terms with Kyiv as instructed by Putin.
- If Kiev withdraws troops from Donbass and Novorossiya within their original boundaries and (2) officially abandons plans to join NATO, Russia will stop firing and be ready to negotiate.
- Russia wants Ukraine to have a neutral, non-aligned, and nuclear-free status.
- Russia is calling for the complete removal of all Western sanctions imposed on the country.
Putin's perspective on the Ukrainian conflict.
- The peoples of Russia and Ukraine would find a way to resolve any issues fairly, but the reason for the conflict is the “unceremonious” and “absolutely adventurous” policy of the West.
- The conflict was not initiated by Russia. It was the Kiev regime that started and continues hostilities. This is considered as aggression.
- Moscow appealed to the Kiev authorities to withdraw troops from Donbass to resolve the conflict in the region. However, the proposal was immediately, practically rejected.
- Russia took the Minsk agreements very seriously.
- The residents of Donbas, Novorossiya, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions have a strong desire to join Russia, and they believe that this matter is now closed forever.
Regarding the security system: (Putin's point of view)
"Russia needs to establish a system of "equal and indivisible" security in Eurasia. Moscow is eager to see substantial progress in this dialogue within the UN. In the late 20th century, there was a unique opportunity to establish a reliable and just security order, which Russia was committed to, but the West had a different perspective.
Russia consistently highlighted the flaws in the path chosen by Western elites and proposed alternatives and constructive solutions. The Western model, promoted as the only correct approach to security, is ineffective, and "NATO-style diplomacy" produces the opposite outcome. No country is immune to becoming a victim of "Western diplomacy." The future security framework should be inclusive to all countries in the region, including European and NATO countries."
About Russian assets (Putin's point of view)
"Any attempts by Western countries to seize Russian assets will be considered theft and will not go unpunished. Despite all the trickery, theft will certainly remain theft."
The West has not only undermined military and political stability in the world but has also discredited key market institutions. There is already a growing distrust in the financial system based on Western reserve currencies.
Our relations with the West (Putin's point of view)
"Russia's relations with some Western states have deteriorated, but not through Moscow's fault.
Statements by some European states about Russia's intention to attack Europe are 'absolute nonsense.''
If Europe wants to preserve itself as one of the independent centers of world development and the cultural and civilizational poles of the planet, it certainly needs to be in good, kind relations with Russia.'
The main threat to Europe is not Russia, but the 'critical,' 'almost total' dependence on the United States. The selfishness and arrogance of Western states have led to the current extremely dangerous state of affairs, 'we have come unacceptably close to the point of no return.'"
About US ambitions (Putin's point of view)
"The United States is continuously striving to maintain its imperial status, which only exhausts the country and goes against the true interests of the American people. European politicians tolerate humiliation, rudeness, and scandals under the surveillance of European leaders, and the United States takes advantage of them for its own interests. Washington has abandoned the World Trade Organization, yet it puts pressure on competitors and exploits European countries."
ABOUT BRICS
"Russia has pledged to assist in the smooth inclusion of new BRICS member countries into working structures and will make the necessary decisions for the summit in Kazan. The organization has the potential to become one of the core regulatory institutions of the multipolar world order over time."

Report: 13. June 2024In Moscow Region, a group called Zapad used rockets to attack and defeat 30 Ukrainian soldiers on June 13, 2024, at 05:28.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the crew of the BM-21 Grad multiple-launch rocket system destroyed up to 30 Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel.
The artillery unit of the Guards combined arms army of the West group of forces carried out the operation.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that it took about a minute to prepare the combat vehicle for firing, using reconnaissance UAVs to monitor the accuracy of hits from the Grad system. After receiving adjustments, the vehicle crew introduced corrections, and the salvo covered the enemy’s positions.
It was also reported that the Russian Armed Forces took control of Artemovka in the LPR and Timkovka in the Kharkiv region. This achievement was credited to units of the West group of forces, as emphasized by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Military analyst Mikhail Onufrienko previously stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces halted the advance of Russian troops in the Kharkiv direction. He claimed that the Russian Armed Forces moved away from Liptsy by about one kilometer. However, the Russian Ministry of Defense did not comment on this information.
"The rocket crew quickly moved to a ready position, fired at the target, and then moved to new locations. They do this 10 to 15 times a day. The whole process takes about three to four minutes because the enemy usually starts shooting after about five minutes".
This was explained by the leader of the rocket team, Dnepr, while discussing the unit’s combat work.

Report: 12. June 2024Russian naval vessels have reached the port of Havana, Cuba.
A squadron of four Russian naval vessels, featuring a nuclear-powered submarine and a potent frigate, has recently landed in Cuba, signalling a forceful display amid escalating tensions with the West surrounding the conflict in Ukraine.
The vessels are currently stationed at Havana Bay CUBA, a mere 90 miles (145 km) from the shores of the US state of Florida.
The Kremlin's message to Washington seems to be a clear warning about what they see as interference in their region.
Russia's defence ministry has publicized that both the Admiral Gorshkov frigate and the Kazan submarine are outfitted with cutting-edge weaponry, including the highly advanced Zircon hypersonic missiles, and have previously executed missile exercises in the Atlantic.
Contrarily, Cuba's foreign ministry has been quick to underscore that none of the vessels are carrying nuclear armaments and that their brief five-day visit represents no menace to the region.
The US officials have iterated that they are vigilantly monitoring the unfolding situation.
War in Europe
Report: 11. June 2024Putin said, "Europe is defenseless."
Since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia, Mr Putin has made references to nuclear threats, suggesting that trying to defeat a nuclear power like Russia could have disastrous consequences.
President Putin claimed that Russia could achieve victory in Ukraine without using nuclear weapons during an interview at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The interviewer, Sergei Karaganov, is known for his hawkish views on Russian foreign policy and he suggested the idea of holding a "nuclear pistol" to the West over Ukraine.
President Putin mentioned the possibility of changes to Russia's nuclear doctrine, which outlines the conditions under which Russia would use nuclear weapons. He also warned European countries that Russia has more tactical nuclear weapons than the ones present on the European Union and highlighted the lack of a developed early warning system in Europe, suggesting their vulnerability.
The ongoing war in Ukraine, along with the soaring tensions between Russia and the West, has made it clear that Russia is not business as usual. President Putin also hinted at the possibility of supplying advanced conventional long-range weapons to countries under pressure from those supplying weapons to Ukraine. The statements suggest a worrying escalation of tensions, and the possibility of deploying missiles to various parts of the world was not ruled out. The comments made by Russian officials indicate a willingness to respond forcefully to perceived threats.
Regardless of Western sanctions, Russia has showcased at this year's event that numerous countries are eager to engage in business with Russia.

Biden apologized for the delay in providing military aid to Ukraine.
US President Joe Biden expressed regret to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for the delays in military aid to Ukraine and reaffirmed his commitment to providing $225 million in support.
The two leaders held discussions in Paris following their participation in the 80th-anniversary commemorations of the D-Day landings in Normandy, France.
The US Department of Defense announced that the new aid package would encompass ammunition and anti-aircraft missiles. President Biden attributed prior aid delays to some Republicans in Congress but reiterated unwavering US support for Ukraine, stating, "The United States will stand with you. You haven't yielded at all, and your perseverance is truly remarkable."
In response, President Zelensky underscored the significance of the US-Ukraine relationship, emphasizing its critical role in countering Russian aggression: "We rely on your sustained support and solidarity as we stand together." Subsequently, President Biden delivered a stirring address at Pointe Du Hoc, a significant site in Normandy where US Army rangers scaled cliffs to assault a Nazi stronghold on D-Day.
He spoke of the sacrifices made on June 6, 1944, affirming, "They would undoubtedly desire America to oppose Putin's current aggression in Europe." He also emphasized, "They urge us to fulfill our duty: protecting freedom, defending democracy, and confronting aggression, both at home and abroad."
Earlier the same day, President Zelensky addressed the French parliament regarding the conflict with Russia, expressing concern that it has disrupted European peace. He expressed optimism that an upcoming summit in Switzerland later this month could potentially facilitate a resolution to the ongoing war.
During his visit, President Zelensky also met with French President Emmanuel Macron. Macron announced on French TV that France will be providing Mirage 2000 fighter jets to Ukraine and will commence training for Ukrainian pilots, expected to begin this summer. The training process typically takes five to six months, so Ukrainian pilots should be prepared by the end of the year.
Macron also mentioned that Western allies would be willing to consider sending military instructors to train Ukrainian forces on the ground. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov responded to Macron's comments, indicating France's willingness to directly engage in the Ukrainian conflict.
These developments occurred a day after Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed concern that Moscow could supply weapons to countries interested in targeting Western interests. He made this statement while criticizing the West's delivery of long-range weapons to Ukraine, without specifying which countries might receive weapons from Moscow.
Right now, several countries, including the US, have provided authorization to Ukraine to target locations within Russia. President Biden has allowed Ukraine to use American-supplied weapons to strike targets in Russia, but with the restriction of operating only in the vicinity of the Kharkiv region.
The White House clarified that Ukraine cannot use long-range ATACMS missiles on Russian soil.
